It was the 5th Anniversary of San Francisco Ocean Beach monthly hot rod gatherings. This is a very eclectic, chill group of gearheads. Everything is very informal. No fees. No trophies. Just a good, relaxed time by people who enjoy cars that were not stamped out by the millions.



Fins for days on this classic Cadillac.

The signage on this VW performance engine captures the spirit of the monthly gathering. The cars are drivers, not pampered trailer queens.


Your car doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to be uniquely yours.

The Ford Edsel became synonymous with embarrassing failure.

I've seen this car at numerous local auto gatherings. It always draws the eye.
