This car is about 55-years-old and incredibly original. Convertibles are notorious for faded interiors -- and this car looks to have begun beachside in Santa Barbara, and now resides in the outer Richmond 10 blocks from the Pacific. How is the front bumper not sporting pitted chrome? The paint is original. How do I know? Because when you start taking pictures of a car like this, the owner WILL yell down from his 2nd floor apartment. He told me he's had the car for the last 20 years. So somebody took very good care of it for a couple generations before him. Total survivor, and definitely not a Prius. (I got a laugh out of the bicycle in the backseat, licensed in Berkeley circa 1965. A nod to the days when if you broke down you didn't phone for help -- you might be on our own.)
