Just things I found interesting enough to point my phone camera at in recent weeks.

They rotate public art installations on the now-closed section of JFK Drive in Golden Gate Park. The sea serpent is new, and I hope they make it permanent. It blows bubbles from its nose, and lights up at night.

It was the 10th Anniversary of Flower Piano, where they sprinkle a dozen different pianos throughout the Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park. Amateur players are encouraged to tickle the ivories, and on 2 consecutive weekends some serious talent is featured. The crowds have grown, and the event seems to becoming Stern Grove North.

I prefer Flower Piano mid-afternoon during the week, much less crowded. You take your chances with the talent that will randomly sit down at the keys. But I've enjoyed some magical moments this way.

The color of this quince gown complements the Palace of Fine Arts rotunda quite well.

A moment of prayer before taking the rental bikes out on the mean streets of San Francisco.

The 1915 Palace of Fine Arts was a temporary structure, rebuilt 2-3 times over the years. Well worth the effort.

Self-portrait in a maritime signal lamp displayed in the Presidio Visitor Center.

Nature finds a way. In the carwash cafe across the street from where I work on Mission Street.

I had a tasty roasted pork sandwich from the Borsch Mobile in the park. Nice graphics.

How long has this guy been stuck in traffic? Model A Ford to self-driving Jaguar, City Hall has seen a lot of history roll by since it was built in 1911. OK, that's it.
