Over the centuries shipwrecks by the hundreds have been reported in and around the rocky, foggy entrance to San Francisco Bay. This is the scenic 17th hole of Lincoln Park public golf course, overlooking the SF bay entrance. Walk along Lands End at extreme low tide, and you can still see a few telltale parts of old ships poking above the waves.
