In recognition of the shelter-at-home era, I'm sharing some of the things that adorn my apartment walls.

The FOX San Francisco was a legendary theatre from 1929-1963. It faced Market Street immediately south of the civic auditorium. It was a true entertainment palace, with approximately 5,000 seats and the world's largest Wurlitzer organ. The organ, together with a full orchestra, would rise on a platform from a pit. The framed program below is from its Grand Opening, when dozens of Hollywood's biggest stage and film stars came up to San Francisco in an evening parade of glamour and spotlights. The figures on each side were part of the theatre's gilded motif.
