Saturday: Famous San Francisco Scenes.

Today was blue skies and almost balmy. I visited some of the tried-and-true San Francisco scenes with my sister and brother-in-law. No bridal shots! lol

This is the famed 268-foot long "Golden Dragon" that will be featured in February 8th's dramatic night time Chinese New Year Parade through Chinatown. Until then, it's being displayed on the ground-floor level of Embarcadero 3.

One of the rare original statuettes from the iconic film, "The Maltese Falcon." It's displayed upstairs at the San Francisco landmark restaurant, John's Grill, since 1908, at 63 Ellis Street. Thanks for lunch today Mary and John Roberts!

Massive colorful painting, "The Pied Piper," by famed illustrator Maxfield Parrish. It's behind the bar in the Pied Piper Room of the landmark Shearton Palace Hotel on Market Street.
