A faded movie star. This is one of the stars at the threshold to the 4Star Theater entrance on 24th Ave and Clement.

Friedel Klussmann, the woman who saved the cable cars. After a 40-year-long battle. This is the Hyde Street cable car turnaround. A fitting tribute indeed.

Dinner is served, in one of the new COVID-era outdoor parklet dining areas. This one belongs to Cassava's on Balboa & 36th Avenue. The towering flame devices are space heaters & ambience producers. Goodbye parking, hello fine dining.

Next stop, Hawaii. This is part of the Red & White fleet 1-hour cruise that leaves from Pier 43.5 -- if you get a chance take the boat ride. It's a great SF experience, and they could use the business.
