Here I am standing not quite shoulder-to-shoulder (COVID!) with my fellow brothers and sisters in labor. The city workers' union(s) are negotiating a new contract. San Francisco currently has almost 4,000 funded but vacant positions. So more money would be good for me, but more workers would be good for everybody -- especially the public.

A month of warm, rain-free weather has convinced this big-headed rose that spring has come early to my block in the outer Richmond District.
