Tuesday afternoon. This is the Grand Courtyard of the historic Palace Hotel in downtown SF. (Corner of Market Street and New Montgomery.) The original hotel burned in the 1906 Earthquake & Fire. The current version opened in 1909. My mom told me how as a young woman she would go with her mother, in hat and gloves of course, for high tea at the Palace Grand Courtyard.
