At the Walgreen's on Van Ness, north of City Hall, the detergent -- and about everything else -- is on lockdown. Certain items not only shouldn't be locked up, they should be free: detergent, deodorant, toothpaste, condoms, etc. Carve a couple billion dollars out of the defense budget, and everybody in society wins.
