National Parks Service just opened a new 6-acre open space in the Presidio, overlooking the bay shores at Crissy Field. Revealed for the first time in generations are the century-old gun emplacements that guarded the Bay. All part of the decades-long redevelopment of the Doyle Drive approach to the Golden Gate Bridge.
