Mike's Gallery: A Sporadic Series

Since we're in a shelter-at-home status, I thought I'd share some of the art on my walls. I'm a fan of history, and San Francisco's history in particular. Here's an authentic vintage streetcar ad promoting Sutro's salt water baths and ice rink out at Lands End. (By the late 1930's, the baths alone weren't drawing a crowd. So they split the space into baths and ice rink.) By 1966 when Sutro's burned down during demolition, the space had been used purely as an ice rink for years.
