The SF Museum of Modern Art is open on Thursdays until 8 pm. And on the first Thursday of the month, the entire museum is open free to the general public. I was there, and so were a lot of other people. Especially young people. Here are some images...

The art-starved hordes arrive.

Snow-globe display creates a teeter-totter out of the U.S./Mexico border wall.

Pedestrians get the lion's share of the GGB, and cars get a narrow lane!

The massive Diego Rivera mural from the 1939 World's Fair on Treasure Island.

The all-red motif of MOMA's mens restroom.

Henri Matisse, Femme au chapeau (Woman with a Hat), 1905 I've seen this painting at the Legion of Honor fine arts museum, and now here at MOMA. Pretty cool when you're considered "modern" more than a century later.
