Caught the Judy Chicago and Patrick Kelly exhibits at the de Young. Judy is an artist with a lot of socially conscious things to say, and a lot of visually compelling ways to say them. Patrick Kelly was a breakthrough fashion designer who conquered New York and Paris, not unlike his muse, Josephine Baker. Outtakes below.
