Hitting Close To Home.

Signs like this one near my apartment sprang up recently all over San Francisco. Over the years I have come across numerous roadside memorials to pedestrians. The SF Board of Supervisors recently declared a state of emergency for pedestrians and bicyclists on San Francisco streets. Several hundred of which are mangled each year in collisions with vehicles. They might live, but they'll never be the same.
