Building Barriers, Not Housing.

This stretch of South Van Ness between Market and Mission has seen repeated homeless encampments spring up, creating a community of squalor and suffering. The city just installed this cyclone fence barrier, denying homeless the space for their tents, and pedestrians the use of one-half of the sidewalk. That's not a real solution.
