The James Bong Building at 833 Market Street. Built in 1908 for the Academy of Sciences as the city rose from the earthquake and fire. I stopped for the flying cherubs above the entrance, and stayed for a look inside the lobby. Great old ornate elevators. Enough marble in the smallish lobby to furnish a mausoleum. A ghost of San Francisco past.
