This is the Skystar Ferris Wheel under construction -- it will have gondola-like passenger compartments when complete. During the 1894 Midwinter's Fair, one of the first Ferris Wheels thrilled attendees in this very spot in Golden Gate Park.

The main stage of the Bandshell in the concourse is being rebuilt. I shot this through the construction screening surrounding the stage.
