Welcome to San Francisco State University: Go Gators! A 23-acre oasis of learning in the southwest corner of the City. Founded in 1899 as a two-year teacher-training school -- women only. But its mission and student body have grown dramatically since then. Here's some recent photos from the core Quad area of the school on a Saturday afternoon during the COVID-era.

Alligator statue donated by the Class of 2015. It's over by the athletics department.

Socially-distanced learning.
